    Thai Bistro

    Thai Bistro sure is a true gem. Having an Asian restaurant in Mexico is great. Having an Asian restaurant that serves consistent yummy food, great service, and good price is a rare find. Everything they offer is fresh and made to order. The restaurant is always clean and inviting.

    Chef Steve has many years of experience in food industry. He can cook just about anything. His food never leaves you disappointed, and you keep wanting to come back for more.

    His wife, Kullanit, and her daughter are kind, helpful, and friendly people. Together they always go extra mile for you and others. It is a great gift to our community to have their family and their business here.

    Thai Bistro is a short distant from the highway on the eastside. They offer delivery service for a small fee, depending on your location, if you don’t feel like leaving the house. You can order directly online or message them to order. Kullanit is very responsive.

    Dine at Culi's, Bucerias

    This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to. Culi’s offers traditional but unique American cuisine. Their menu is not overwhelming, but more than enough options to choose from. We have tried just about everything on the menu, and we have never been disappointed. Their prices are very reasonable too. You will love it!

    Buce-Burger, Bucerias

    We rarely eat burger, but when we do, we go to Buce-Burger. Their burgers are insanely good. It comes with different toppings you can choose from. It is juicy, huge, and it’s so…good. We don’t think an average person can finish a burger here. They have chicken wings here too! Great food and great prices!

    Abulon Antojeria Del Mar, Seafood, Puerto Vallarta

    It’s normal for us to have high expectations for seafood when you visit the beach. The cool thing about this restaurant is that it is not located at the beach, but it is nearby, and you don’t have to pay high prices for it. The locals love it. It is always fresh, and it is made to order. Everything on the menu is delicious and flavorful! We highly recommend the grilled octopus, and the tuna salad!

    La Tosca, Italian, Puerto Vallarta

    Fine Italian restaurant with great food, great prices, great staff, and not far from Costco. We enjoy ourselves each time we visit.

    Mr. Cream, American/Mexican Breakfast

    We enjoy Mr. Cream so much. It is easy walking distance from our casa. Their food is consistently excellent. They have great staff, great prices, but they open for breakfast and lunch only.

    Fat Boys, aka El Gordo, Bucerias

    Fat Boys is right on the beautiful beach near the town square of Bucerias. They offer cold beers, good food, huge portions, friendly English-speaking staff, reasonable prices.

    It is an open-air restaurant with a beautiful view of the bay. Their food is excellent, good service, and reasonable prices. You have two different menus to choose from.

    In the high season, La Cruz market is open every Sunday. It is located at the Marina of La Cruz. There are so many vendors. Local artists sell their arts here. They also sell vegetables and fresh handmade pasta here.

    Bucerias Sunday Market

    This market is open every Sunday, all year long. This is a much more traditional Mexican market. They offer new and used clothing, fruit, vegetables, tools, kitchen equipment, restaurants, gifts, and plants…

    Bucerias Thursday Night Art Walk

    The main street that runs parallel to the beach has multiple venues that display paintings mosaic, statutes, handicrafts along beverages and treats. This is active on high season only.

    They only play jazz music in the high season, but you can come here for good food and great atmosphere all year long. attentive staff and within easy walking distance.

    They have outdoor dining, Italian cuisine, excellent wood fire pizza and good prices. They have live music most days of the week.

    Rhythm of The Night, Puerto Vallarta

    It is live and it’s action packed. It will include open bar on the boat to and from the show. You will have a fabulous view of the sunset, dinner and a jaw dropping display of skills and stunts.

    Jose Cuervo Tequila Tour, Tequila

    It is 3.5 hours away. They offer so many tours to choose from, some of them will include food, tequila tasting, agave cactus farm tour, and the tour of the distillery. You can even ride around town in a tequila keg wagon!

    Boca De Tomatlan.

    It is located south of Puerto Vallarta. It is a beautiful little village at the mouth of Tomatlan river as it empties into the bay. You can take water taxis from here to different locations around the bay. They have restaurants and shopping. It’s the last stop around the south end of the bay that you can drive to.

    Yelapa

    If you are looking for a day of relaxation and doing nothing, this is a great choice. It is a popular beach where you can only get to by boat and it is surrounded by the beautiful mountains. You don’t have to bring your beach chairs and umbrella here since all the restaurants have it. You can take the water taxi to here from Puerto Vallarta or Boca De Tomatlan.

    Marietas Islands

    They are a protected set of islands at the mouth of the bay, popular for snorkeling and scuba diving. Many boating companies offer tours here. This is also the location of Hidden Beach and its famous arch.

    Bucerias Cafe

    Bucerias cafe is 1.5 blocks away. They offer standard Mexican and American, and they are good. Be prepared for the wait. They can get very busy.

    San Sebastian

    It is a beautiful little mountain village, and it is about 1 hour and 45 minutes from our casa. It is a popular destination for visiting and touring the coffee farms.

    The Malecon

    This spot is so popular and safe for a long walk. It is right on the ocean with many shops, restaurants, and entertainment. It is loaded with arts. They have many festivals here.

    It is fun and exciting dinner and show on the bay. Enjoy the beautiful sun set and get some swashbuckling done.

    Las Caletas Beach

    You can take a tour for a relaxing day here. Tour will include a boat ride to and from, open bar, and food. You will have chance to see birds and animals. This is home of Rhythms of The Night show at night.

    Los Muertos Beach

    This is the most popular beach in Puerto Vallarta. It is at the South end of the Malecon. There are so many restaurants and shops on the on the beach. You can take a water taxi from here to different destinations around the bay. You can hire a fishing boat here for a day or for a few hours of fishing.

    Ixta Restaurant

    One of our favorite restaurants. We love their happy hour. A margarita is only $55 pesos during 1-6pm! They have live music on Thursday. Their food, staff, and prices are good.
